Still deciding? These are the questions we hear most.

Do I need prior IT experience?

You need basic familiarity with technology. We provide an introductory class to get you up to speed before the core material begins.

Is it in person or online?

Both. It’s a hybrid program: attend in person at our Laurel, MD location or join the same live class remotely.

What do I need for the course?

A computer with a working microphone and video camera is required.

Will I need to pass an interview?

Yes. The personal interview lets us go over your educational background and goals, and make sure the program is the right fit for you.

Can I use WIOA or have my employer pay?

Yes. We accept WIOA funding and employer sponsorship. Mention it on your application and admissions will walk you through the steps.

That’s what the program is built for. Classes run 6–9 PM two nights a week, plus a Friday study hall for extra lab time.

Will I have support during the course?
